The Survivors and Allies Task Force is a statewide group of sexual assault survivors and their allies working towards bringing the voice of the survivor to the sexual assault movement. The main purpose is to increase the level of meaningful advocacy services to sexual assault victims in Wisconsin through survivor driven information and feedback that will help keep victims safe and hold perpetrators accountable. WCASA holds several “day of healing” events throughout the state and the two services that were identified by the Survivors and Allies Core group are education and healing. As a direct result, day of healing events have various educational and healing activities and workshops incorporated into them. WCASA sincerely believes that social change to end sexual violence cannot be accomplished without the voice of the survivors strongly present in the sexual assault movement.
