Searchable Resources

The following resource categories can be accessed via the links above. These resources have been developed by WCASA specifically for Sexual Assault Service Providers (SASPs).

  • Infosheets: Concise and printable resources on legal topics and topics such as child sexual assault, sexual assault in Wisconsin and human trafficking.
  • Webinars: WCASA collaborates with presenters to bring their knowledge on intersecting and timely topics.
  • Library Resouces: WCASA maintains a collection of books, DVDs, curricula and reference materials that can be made available to SASP staff for a pre-determined amount of time.
  • Collaborative Remote Support Group list: In response to emerging needs for remote services during the pandemic, many sexual assault service providers are providing virtual or remote support groups. This list is crowd-sourced, meaning WCASA does not maintain or verify the information on it. Service providers are welcome to add their information to the linked list.
  • WCASA Training Catalogue: Though the Catalogue is not an exhaustive list, the featured trainings tackle many essential concepts from within our field,  including: anti-racism and anti-oppression, core advocacy, culturally-specific topics, grants and finances, organizational development, prevention, and systems topics.  Training facilitation is also flexible, as WCASA staff can present in-person or virtually. The WCASA team will continue to revisit and update the Catalogue as we develop new training and content. Please contact Alma Mann with any questions and/or training requests at almam@wcasa.org.

After Action Review Tools for 2021 Fall SA/DV Directors Meeting

After Action Review Guide This is a guide developed by WCASA to assist service providers in conducting After Action Reviews. After Action Reviews have been utilized in many sectors, including in public health following a pandemic response. Using these tools, directors can utilize emergent learning strategies with their staff to identify successes and areas for improvement to move their agency forward. This document provides guidance and tools for facilitation.

  •  AAR Action Planning Tool – This is a simple action planning tool to assist in using the data gathered from your AAR to improve your agency. This tool will help you plan and implement changes within your agency to address areas for improvement and build upon your successes.
  • AAR 2x2 Matrix Tool – This is a decision-making tool which may be helpful in prioritizing and streamlining recommendations and changes that you identify during your AAR discussion. While it is an optional step, this tool may help you determine which goals make the most sense to focus on first during your action planning process.
  • AAR Supplement on Technology & Collecting Anonymous Feedback  – This supplement contains information on tools which may be helpful in the facilitation of AAR, options for collecting anonymous feedback from staff, and a survey template for collecting anonymous feedback during the AAR process.
