Presented by Amanda Schumacher, Sexual Assault Program Director, Family Support Center
This webinar will introduce strategies for advocates helping people who have experienced sexual assault navigate healthcare options and decisions related to HIV. From gaining confidence in discussing the purpose of nPEP and assisting with access and adherence needs, to better understanding the intersecting trauma dynamics for survivors living with HIV, we will focus on using plain language and empowering communication to reduce the stigma, discomfort, and fear that can keep survivors from receiving support around HIV.
