In partnership with Embrace for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Spooner Memorial Library will be hosting the first annual “What Were You Wearing?” Survivor Art Exhibit in Spooner. This self-guided exhibit features survivor stories and visual depictions of what each person was wearing when they were sexually assaulted, a simple yet powerful message for our community that clothing does not equal consent. The exhibit will open to the public at the Spooner Memorial Library on Monday, April 11th at 9:30am. The exhibit will be available for the public to view until Saturday, April 16th at noon. The Spooner Memorial Library is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00am-8:00pm and Friday-Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm.
